Someone on the SmokersForums found this set on Ebay and it's worth sharing.
You've heard of the special Dunhill editions, The Titanic,etc.? This is a different type of disaster...

Plus, an novel new way to repair those pesky cracked bowls.

I'd like to know if those pipes were all bought new by the same guy. Somebody shoulda gotta whuppin'. It sure wasn't much of a craftsman that did the repair work was it. Laughing and shaking head.

I was thinking the same thing,

definitely not "trailer queens",

a fine line between love and abuse, eh?
Looks like love to me!

They appear to be from 1968.
What is kind of neat is how consistent the damage is,

I wonder if it's from knocking on a hard surface?

That's the only thing I can think of that would cause such severe bowl fracturing.
I love the scotch tape shank repair!



I've always liked the way that transparent tape yellows like amber with age,

seen often in older library books,

or photo albums...

I also love those Ventage cases,

a really great design.
