Well I feel like I've been in this hospital forever! Even though its been about two weeks. I've been driving the nurses crazy both day and night! I've started to call them all "wardan" with the exception of the cute night nurse who makes sure to give me a sponge bath!

I know what your talking about Irish.However when your home and reflect on your stay you will agree with me that nurses for the most part are Angels. HANG IN THERE BROTHER.

LOL they truely are! They come and check on me every fifteen minutes! There is a young nurse who found out I'm a religious pipe smoker and sat with me for two hours after her shift ended to talk with me about her grandpa and how he used to smoke a pipe all the time and her fond memories of it!

No VA for me! There is a specialist here in southern Indiana so I pulled some strings and called in a favor or two. I wanted to be close to my fiance.

Your book is on it"s way, make sure you pay attention to the PI Pitt and the engagement ring he gives his fiancé, really unique and cheap, maybe you can give one to your fiancé, won"t tell you no more you"ll have to read the book Tbradsim the old cajun

Irish, Haven't had an overnight in the hosp but once and there was no internet service back then.
Glad you can get on and chat a bit with us, keep up the good fight.

Friendly antagonism keeps life spicy! Without it, I would have no friends and would only grunt at my family. I'm actually very suspicious of people who can't take a joke or a good ribbing. The hospital part will pass but it's understandable that someone who is use to doing finds it difficult to think that sitting still is actually helping. It's helping so hang in there and take it out on the nurses!

Sounds like your in good hands. Don't let the down time get to you (easier said than done I know). I glad that you're able to post with us while you are there, I'm sure it offers you at least a little bit of mental distraction.
