I picked up this Dr.Grabow at an Estate Sale. It has been smoked very little. It should clean up and make a great smoker. Stinger is intact.

Those Viscounts were on the upper end of the food chain at DG, Irish, and I bet this will be an excellent smoker for you. By the way, the grain on yours is stunning.

Thank you Six and Ejames. Yes sir it is a large Apple but I can't find a 12 on in anywhere. I have a few other Viscounts and the numbers on them are right around the edge where stem meets shank and usually on the off side of Name brand. This one has no number. Anyway what little cleaning it needed is done and really looks good. A very nice Grabow. Thanks again Gentlemen. :puffpipe:

Looks like the Kaywoodie stem system these days. You do have to clean off those stingers every smoke,

or they get coated. Nice find. I had a pot shaped pipe, as a house pipe from L.L. Bean that was almost

certainly a Dr. Grabow, with the stinger, but not the screw-on stem. That was from the early 1980's, if

I recall.
