I also have a brebbia that is one of my favorites but have been hearing people rant and rave about how great petes are so it got me interested.

I will be honest and say that for 95 cents I would get the Brebbia. But I am one cheap dude!

Not a big difference in style or looks. It just depends on which one strikes your fancy.Either or both should be good smokers.

Flip a coin. Both should be good smokers. I don't have a Brebbia yet, but my Pete's are good smokers. If the Brebbia smokes anything like a Savinelli, I'd probably go for the Brebbia. I've come to like my Sav's a lot lately.

Actually, you would be saving by buying the Pete because the shipping is free

I like the way the band flows with the pipe on the Pete better. It is probably 6's when it comes to quality. Not sure if the Pete is just a stock photo but the grain looks nicer.

not sure what a new brebbia would cost but the price on that peterson aran looks close to what you could find a new one at any time. i know because i was considering buying one myself - almost, if not exactly, the same model.

I love the Pete, but wouldn't bid on that one. The seller only has one photo and it's a stock photo

from a web site, not his own photo. Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

If they both meet your needs / desires and cost the same, flip a coin. If you immediately yell YES, then get it. If you say Phooey, then get the other one.

I believe Brebbia uses lucite stems (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) and the Peterson is vulcanite. That's the biggest difference I can see.

You can see the dimensions of the Pete here...http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/peterson/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=92380

I don't know anything about Brebbia, so I cannot comment. I know a lot of guys love their Pete's.
