Gotta love Danish Pipes! I recently acquired this Danish Danmore Special. I'm guessing this one is from the 70's. I've devoted this pipe to McClelland's Stave-Aged Virginia 35. Smokes beautifully.
Looking on the Dan pipe site I read that in 1972 Heiko Behrens printed his first small catalogue and offered Danish pipes handmade by artists like Former, Emil Chonowitsch or Poul Hansen and also factorymade pipes of Tabago/Torben Dansk, Danmore and other Danish brands.
Fully restored.

This really has design merit, the unique egg shape (I'd call it), balanced nicely by the 1/8 bent stem,

and the shank piece that accents the whole pipe well -- looks like bone or acrylic. Also the rustication

combined with patches where the grain shows. I have a Eriksen (low-end line by Nording) that has a

similar bowl, but less crafted.
