Yes, two of my favorite actors! Dabney Coleman played a condescending smarmy character so well. (9 to 5) And Ted could play outraged indignation so well! (Caddyshack)

I agree. Two fantastic real actors. The new generation seem to be one trick pony’s.

My first, fondest memories of Dabney Coleman are from "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman." He hit full stride and obtained sainthood with "Buffalo Bill" and then locked everything in with "The Slap Maxwell Story." At this point, Dabney Coleman became an official NFT: National Effing Treasure and and he capped his career, really stretching his chops, playing a monumentally pathetic, revolting and disgusting pederast, The Commodore, in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

Well done, Mr. Coleman. Thank you for forty years of entertainment brilliance.

Ted Knight briefly crossed my radar with "Fantastic Voyage" and then pushed every "Mary Tyler Moore" episode from a ten to a twelve. A hundred years from now, people will laugh at Ted Baxter and Judge Smails. His comedy is timeless.

Ted Knight was a classic. His Judge Smails character is frequently quoted by my friends and I.
