If you look closely where the stems join the shanks you'll see some fading in the color, usually an indication of excessive buffing. Since there are no photos of the nomenclature who knows what damage might have been done there. Probably best to stay clear of that set.

That's quite a kit, and for some pipers, that's not a vast sum to spend, but if I were in that league, I think I'd still want to cherry pick my pipes and not buy them by the sevens ... but that's just me. Handsome case, and the pipes look ... like Dunhills. My Dr. Grabow arrives tomorrow.
