Can someone give me some guidance on what you would call these shapes? It would be easier if they weren't all chunky but that is what is givng me fits in characterizing them.Bulldog, rhodesian, bull cap, bull moose, lovat, billiard, apple? Help!

Well they are all rusticated... The Top looks like a Bullmoose which is like a bulldog or rhodesian where the shank is fat and blends into the bowl. 3rd looks like a pot, 4th, 5th and 6th are billiards the 5th and 6th more specifically a canadian style. The 2nd I'm not too sure but I'll get back to you if I figure it out.

Some of these seem to fall between shapes, but I'd classify them, 1. Rhodesian, 2. apple, 3. pot,

4. billiard, 5.Lovat, and 6. Canadian. If I look at them again, I'll probably want to re-classify them

all. They look like they are from the same maker, but I can't say who that is.

Bullmoose, author, pot, billiard, lovat, and a cross between a lovat and a bulldog (I'd say canadian/bulldog but it looks like the shank is round, and AFAIK Canadians have oval stems...).

Are 5 and 6 both lovats? the bowls differ that was my sticking point, but in looking at the pipe shapes, may have an apple shaped bowl but the round shank and stem make it a lovat.
