I've just gone through some tins of Capstan and Klondike Gold and didn't smoke any other Va flakes for about a year. I just popped some OGS, and it was like meeting an old friend. Sometimes I forget how good some blends are. Anyone else "rediscover" a blend they've foolishly ignored?

I think this happens a lot with people. Sometimes you need a break from something to appreciate it more later on. OGS is one that I too enjoy more after a break.

Yes. Sometimes I do it on purpose. I'll finish a tin and wait a while before opening a new one. Or finish a small mason jar and not refill it for a while. In the interim, I smoke what is open. Then, I break out a new batch after a couple of weeks and it is great and I wonder why I waited so long. Of course, I know why, that was the intent all along.
