OK , so what is the collective noun for pipe smokers?......

I am sure one exists. I have come across "Pipemen" and "Pipers"

Perhaps we can run a poll and come up with a self determined collective noun?

I would love to see your suggestions?

My not so serious suggestion "Pipoleers"......I am sure knowing the wit and intelligence of the average ( please insert word here ....) you will come up with some crackers ::

I normally smoke because I want to be alone. Thus the plural becomes irrelevant.

This was my first thought too, but with the propensity of cobs, meers, clays, and other woods, it just didn't seem inclusive enough.

I've always said pipesters, myself. Although, Arthur and Lawrence are on to something! *looks into pockets and counts minimal change* :crying:

So Collectively a Poverty of Kapnismologists ?........it would be great explaining it to the uninitiated........I know it lacks the poetry of Poverty of Pipers , Arthur good call! But as they say there is no point in being an awkward bugger if you can't show it!
