Cobbit - Elf or Shire

Was looking to add a MM churchwarden to my piperack, and was curious if anyone had any opinions as to which of the two cobbits is the better pipe (I'm assuming that they're both pretty much the same, the primary difference being aesthetics).

There are 4 pipes in the Cobbit collection. The Dwarf is the smallest, The Elf and Shire are medium, and The Wizard is the largest. Other than size, it's an esthetics thing.

I own the entire Cobbit Collection and they all smoke about the same. I mostly smoke the Dwarf. I like the way it feels in my hand.

I have the Elf, for some reason it does not go well with VaPer/Va blends which is pissing me off.

Like the style of the pipe but going to sell it.
Just to note I like cobs and use several in my rotation, and all smoke great

I have the Elf and the Shire. While I like the shape of the Shire, on the one I received the tenon has always been a little bit wobbly in the mortise. Otherwise, they both smoke just fine. Looking forward to eventually obtaining the Wizard Cobbit.

The Elf and Shire use The exact same stem, so the choice is which shape you prefer.

I have an Elf and a Dwarf. The Elf with a forever stem, it's not as large as you would think, it's a smaller chamber than a Country Gentleman (I have a CG with a similar forever stem, so I have a direct comparison). The Dwarf is just a little smaller than a Shire, it smokes as well as the Elf but it's a better option for a short smoke.

Nerd Alert. Elves don't smoke in Lord Of The Rings. So go with one of the other pipes. :roll:

I have both pipes and honestly prefer the Shire. Its shape fits in the hand better.
