My 5 year old grandson ran in a Christmas in July Charity Fun Run this morning. That gave me a

an excuse to smoke a Christmas blend. I am smoking some McClellands 2003 Christmas Cheer in my little Chacom Reybert 81. The Chacom is my Christmas blends pipe. My son gave me a mason jar full of it and this is only the second time I've smoked it. I'm not tasting any sweetness and I'm getting bombarded with a sour taste. It' okay...not great. I'll smoke it on ocassion around the holidays.

Scott the first little whiff I got of Christmas Cheer it smelt just like molasses, and the first puff had an incredible sweetness. I had trouble keeping it lit though.
It is a great blend, and you should give it another go.

Let the jar sit open for 5 minutes every couple days. Do that for a period of two or three weeks. Should help with the sour taste.
