Hmm, those fills look to be of dubious vintage. He has a whole sack of stummels but nothing is branded. Interesting though.

Of course they are not branded. They still need final shaping and sanding, which would erase any brand mark. Or rustication or blasting. The biggest problem would be in being able to chuck it up properly to drill the mortise.
BTW, those are called fraised stummels.

The sack could be branded or he could provide any source of authentication other than "because I say so".

I did pass this on to Chris A. He has a good supply, didn't find the shapes interesting and said they were a bit overpriced.
