Used to catch em with net, now this old fart has to use cash. Neighbors last drag, before the first shrimp season closes. At 5.50$

A lb he didn't even pay for his Diesel, small shrimpers are going by the wayside like all small businesses.

Have Slap Ya Moma shrimp boil and Frog Bone Cocktail sauce will travel.
They are $8.90 a pound at Rouses with taxes. Bought a pound there Friday for bait.

Gooood eatin. I spent a summer working a shrimp boat out of Sargent Texas. It is amazing the strange things down there that most never get a chance to see! Most of the work is culling everything thats not shrimp.

My goodness. That looks awesome. Being (very) landlocked, I have never had shrimp like that. How do you best like to cook them?

Fried first, then pan broiled with cracked black pepper like you have ruined them, lemon slices , lots of them, Butter Galore, salt, when they turn a hint of pink, out the oven, Hot French bread to sop the juice running down your arms. Sah Sa Bon Cher.
