Hello to all

I just picked up a CARPINO 21 briar pipe on a flea market. I have no knowledge about it but it was very cheap so i took it.

It has an apple shape bowl, gold plated decoration ring and also marked with the letters DB on the stem. (tried to post some pics but didn't figure it up).

I will be thankful for some info on it.

That pipe is Design Berlin carpino 21 bent apple shape.

It's Germany pipe and new one price is about $85.

BTW,

The crystal cranberry colored ashtray was bought at the same purchase..

i had to add about 4 more dollars (15 nis).

You had a lucky day there. The pipe looks in good shape. See if it is a 9 mm filter pipe, just so you

know. You don't have to use a filter, but it will explain why it is open draw, if you don't.

Yes, It does take a 9" filter.

Just cleaned it and after installing a new filter it smokes great. Does not heat to much and very comfortable.
The only problem now is that it will enhance the hunger to buy more..
