There is a Jim Mate Pipe & Tobacco Shop in Mill Valley, California. Could possibly be a "House" pipe made for his store from just about anyone. Could call them to test out this theory... Or maybe someone else will have a definitive answer. Good luck!

Well I think the Hallmarks are Sheffield 1961 925/1000 or 925 parts in a thousand silver or commonly known as .925 silver. As to the pipe I have no idea. Now I could be wrong as your anchor is on its side which was used for 1999 but that's what I think. Anyone with a better idea I would delighted to hear it as these Hallmarks always drive me up the wall.

The pipe also had an old glasorb filter in the top of it. It looks to be old but who knows, Google knew nothing.

From what I'm seeing, the hallmarks are from the Birmingham Assay office (the anchor) 1936. Beyond that...?
