Can anyone help identifying this pipe

Can anyone help figure out who made this pipe. It has a gold band with markings stamped on it but that about it. Also it's not made of briar wood.

It is an interesting piece for sure. With no markings it will be difficult to place it but the band lends me to say it may be English in origin.
