This is my first horn I have ever made. The briar was damn near flawless. I used mule deer on this as well. Happy smoking everyone!

I just wanted to say that Jason has been great to work with on this. The price is very reasonable and he was great about communicating what was going on. To put it simply I would not hesitate to have another briarbird pipe made.

I'm insterested in how a horn-shaped pipe would smoke.
Seeing as the chamber kind of gets slightly horizontal (tilted) I imagine the top of the pipe gets very hot.
'Imagine' being the key-word there. No experience whatsoever.

Jason just let me know that this is on it's way. Like I told him; it's time to go camp out by the mailbox.

I am thinking about smoking some Frog Morton from 2009 in it to break it in, but I haven't decided yet; the frog is a little to mellow for my tastes, but it burns nice and cool. On the other hand I do have a sample of Penzance coming in....
