Ok, so up until now, I think my strongest foray into English blends has been STM or Ruins of Isengard, along with EMP.

Tonight I just smoked my first bowl of McClelland's Bombay Extra, and I am hooked! Probably my favorite smoke so far, and further confirmation to me that I am moving away from aromatics. I also got a tin of McClelland's Sundown, and I'm looking forward to that one as well.

So here is my question for those with more experience than I... How potent of an English would you consider Bombay Extra? I definitely got the Latakia hit, as well as the VA/Per undertones, so I'm wondering which direction to go from here with English blends.

Thanks for any input!

+1 w/Bombay Extra, I find it pretty smooth
You can always snag a tin of C&D's Star of the East flake, Penzance

or C&D's Billy Budd for "full on" Lat-attack to test your pal ;-)
