Hi Folks, I've been away a bit but just thought I would share a few pics of this billiard off the bench today. I should have taken just a tad more off the stem and pushed the bowl shank back a bit but overall I'm happy.

    Nicely done!

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Great looking pipe! I like the mix of rustication and smooth wood -- very tastefully done.

That chamber looks HUGE in the top down photo.

I like the strategic placement of smooth and rustication. Smooth in the front, for aerodynamics when racing across the pipe shop to get that last tin of Esoterica, but rusticated in the back, so that the user still finds an interesting view during the sprint.

    Two thumbs up!

    Thanks again folks.
jeffro, here is a pic of the Dremel bits I use.

The small one is a Dremel #106 1/16" high speed cutter
The second smallest is a Dremel #107 1/8" high speed cutter

Here is a great video by Walt Cannoy showing how to make a nail rustication tool and rusticate a pipe.

Chris, you know I love your work... I can't understand the proportions on this one. It doesn't feel right to me. Sorry.

That is a sharp looking pipe and the stem really sets it off.
