On this past Monday, the Turkish Lira dropped to historical lows against the dollar.
I am currently looking to add to my quailty Meerchaums from Turkey. Will there be a price drop from the makers or will they hold prices though the dollar will go a lot further in Turkey?

They have prices in dollars or euros, the only way to get a pipe cheaper is to go to Turkey and buy it there.

I'm not sure about that. Their currency is the Lira and today's dollar should go a lot further. Though they quote prices is dollars or euros, the dollar today should go much further. I am getting prices today on three pipes that I've been looking at and I was only offered at 15% discount yet the Turkish Lira has fallen 40% against the dollar. Turks like to negotiate on price so, I am just playing thier game.

even when buying in person the negotiations take place in USD which they prefer over the Euro.
