I've always inhaled since I began smoking pipes as I mentioned here some time ago, but this sore throat stuff made me rethink all of that.
The tobacco is tasting so much better now that I don't inhale!
The problem is, I sometimes still accidentally inhale. The smoke sometimes seems to go into my throat without me even noticing it.
Are there any techniques to prevent this?

If it isn't bothering you, I don't see any reason to worry about it. Also, learn the proper method to "snork", that will soon become subconscious which will help eliminate inhaling. Bottom line, as you smoke more with proper technique, it will become subconscious and you won't have to think about it at all.

Give it time ... if you have been a cigarette smoker prior to pipe it's normal that you are tempted to inhale. With time, as you perfect your pipe smoking skills, the temptation will go away. Don't fret if you inhale accidentally every so often.
