I figured out what EX means! It means Extraordinaire and is savinelli's largest bowl holding 4.5 to 5 Grams of tobacco.

I saw the thread you posted about pics of the Savinelli 320s. I have two of them, and I keep meaning to get up off my dead ass and take a pic of the two of them. I have the exact same rusticated 320 EX pictured above. That damn pipe was just built to take a beating. I smoke the living hell out of that pipe and it has always been good to me. The pipe is also so well built, rugged, and manly that I have taken to smoking it while I chop down Redwoods with my bare hand.

Ha Ha Lumberjack aye! I want one bad. I have never spend that much on a pipe. Heck I've never paid half that.

I got mine for about $65 shipped from smokingpipes.com. I think that is about the most that I have ever paid for a pipe as well, but it is worth every single penny. You really have to hold a pipe like that in your hand to really appreciate it, and the way I look at it, if cared for correctly, it is a $65 investment that will last me a lifetime and something that I can pass down to my son one day. If you ever have the chance to pull the trigger on one, do it. You will not regret it, I promise you.

Thanks I am considering it. I think what I will do is save a little each month and when December comes around I will buy myself a little Christmas present. :puffpipe:

The cool thing about the 320 EX as opposed to other models of the 320 is that the EX comes with a pre carbed bowl, so break in is so easy it's almost stupid. Mine easily has a good 40 or 50 smokes under its belt, and it is started to get a good, firm, solid cake sticking to the chamber walls. Damn, all this talk is really making want to fire up that pipe. I think I'm gonna load it up and have a go.

Lucky dog you. I haven't smoked in 4 weeks because of a painful wisdom tooth that comes out the 25th. Only 2 more weeks of no smoking after that. :crying:
