Banjo, another really nice pipe, and not one that is expected from Jim Cooke, and I'm talking about his smooth pipes. Any idea when it was made?

Sparks,

No idea whatsoever, will try to find out once I have it in hand though.
sablebrush52,

I have only seen less than 1/2 dozen smooth pipes by JT Cooke and I now own 2, the first is a Cavalier I bought early on...........

Of course, the next time you get the PAD urge just have the pipe shipped to me. I'll be more than happy to shoulder the PAD burden for you!
Nice pipes, though!! Happy puffin',

All beautiful pipes! I love Cooke's blasts. Perhaps one of these days I'll break down and add one to the collection. But I'm so satisfied with the Von Ercks that I go for one of those every time I see one that I like.

'fish, though I greatly admire your collection, and envy it from time to time, if I had that collection,

it would drive me crazy wanting to smoke my way through the whole rotation. That's a magnificent

poker, so lithe and spare and yet so hardy/hearty too. Lovely briar, metal work, and brilliant follow-through

on the stem.

mso489,

I would be lying if I said all of the pipes in my collection have been smoked since I have 5 at the moment which have not they are awaiting the right moment.
That is exactly how I smoke, what tobacco is calling me at the moment and which pipe gave me the most memorable smoke with it, sometimes a pipe will bet several goes before another gets in there, case in point is the all briar Teipen, I smoke it no less than 3 days a week and the Tsuge Tankard nearly every day.
The others I have smoke best under certain temperatures and of course with certain tobacco's. I don't anguish over it at all since I eventually smoke all of them it just takes longer to get there! :D
