According to Jose Manuel Lopes in his book titled "Pipes - Artisans and Trademarks" Benner is a, "Danish brand by Bent Nielsen, who worked for Karl Erik and designed various models for Stanwell. After more than 30 years in the profession, he now makes pipes as a hobby. Stamp: "Benner". Symbol: "B"."
Here is a link (Benner) to the Benner page on the pipedia.org Website.
I hope that you find this information to be helpful.

I have two Benner pipes, one an Olive Wood bowl with bamboo shank and the other I call tortured, both are excellent smoking pipes. Enjoy your find I'm sure it will serve you well.

Agreed-- if you don't like it, let me know. That's a stunner all right! All the antique stores here ever get is "very cool old pipes," AKA someone's grampa's cheapies he smoked until they fell apart, usually sold as a full set of unrestorable junk in an old pipe rack for $75.
