I bought a bunch of this stuff last summer. Was quite enthralled with it for a while then gradually lost interest or became distracted by a siren call perhaps. Still have a ton of it sitting in jars. For those of you who have smoked this with some age on it (3 years+), please give me your thoughts. Is it significantly better with some age? Just a little better? The same?

If aged properly (not questioning your aging ability) 2015 ages quite nicely. It will smooth out, become easier to smoke (light easier and stay lit longer) and have a nicer fuller smoother flavor. One of my favorite bulk blends.

Ages great, the flakes darken up, the taste becomes even richer. Dry it out good before smoking, 2015 is one of my favorites .

It’s one of my favorite broken flakes from McCleeland, I think it’s every bit as good as their tinned VA’s. I only have experience with a few years on it but it’s quite delicious!
