I bought an estate pipe a couple of years ago that had obviously been used for smoking Lakeland blends. The pipe even smelled after a good alcohol cleaning, so I was hesitant to smoke it. Well, I finally decided to smoke away the ghosts and have been pleasantly surprised. The pipe gave a very nice smoke with a faint essence of Lakeland when I smoked it with a Virginia blend. The smoke was not bad at all and honestly I really enjoyed the occasional floral flavor that came and went as I smoked. I do like some of the lighter Lakeland blends and found that this ghost was definitely friendly. Honestly I will miss it when it is fully gone. :)

You may be onto something there. Find out which Lakeland blend, and mix just a smidgen of it with your tobacco and see how it works.

Mike, If I smoke Ennerdale I would only embrace the toilet...that one makes me nauseous....maybe some Kendall or Bobs Choc. flake
