Today Dick Clark passed. A man that ment more to most of us than we realize. He took music and musicians to hights never imaginable. 82 years of life well lived, my next bowl is to the American Bandstand Man himself. Thanks for the many years and New Years Dick you will be missed.

I just heard about it on the radio, KFOG played "Rock Around the Clock" to commemorate.
They used to call him "America's Oldest Teenager" ... it's funny because it fits, he managed to stay relatively youthful despite aging.
He lived during a very interesting time.

I remember as a child listening to his top countdown on the radio. My parents made sure I watched this Icon to remember that music is the universal language.

I liked seeing him the last few years on TV during the new years eve celebrations. RIP Mr. Clark.
