Can you guess where it's listed? That's right, Ebay! I especially like the bit about it being professionally smoked to ensure quality... He can really lay it on there lol!

$16,000 plus $6.99 shipping.
I love how he wants to charge for shipping too - lol! Still, more power to him - anyone who'd pay that much for a pipe has more money than sense.

I think that has to be an error... I mean he has sold some older better pipes for less... I saw that he sold a 1922 Dunnie for $150.
But hey... I guess if he can sell it for that, well then more power to him.
Whats that saying P.T. Barnum said? "There's a sucker born every minute"

He's already turned down like 10 offers and has zero bids, if he thought the price was too high he can bring it down anytime.

I offered $10 but I didn't think he went for it. (kidding)
Maybe I left off a few zeroes to make up for him adding a few zeroes.

EDIT: So what is a pipe like that worth?

A Bugatti Veyron costs $1.2 million so, relatively speaking, $16K for a pipe is "....a mere bag of shells." (Ralph Kramden)
Edit: I noticed that there is no "Buy Now" option.

Only takes one person to buy it, and he gets his 16k. You never know...
It's a shame too, you could get about 1600 cobs for that price.

Well that settles it Roth. Now I must bid. Thanks for spending my money...again.
In all seriousness what is that pipe worth today? $3 - $5k? Just curious. I know a lot depends on the buyer of course.

It's probably really worth $3,500.00, in order to fetch the kind of bread he's asking it would need to be one of Bo's freehand designs, such as a Ballerina, Ramses or an Elephant's Foot. That pipe is too classically shaped to fetch the really big money.

I find this is all very interesting.
I suppose if you think of pipe making as art one could argue that this is not much different than asking $1,000,000 for a Picasso - which is after all, just paint on a piece of canvas.

I think $100,000.00 for a motorcycle is dumb too, but it isn't uncommon. Wouldn't doubt if he sells it. A good deal is a mutual agreement between a buyer & seller.
