I just cracked a tin of this blend and the age has made a sizable difference than when fresh. The tobacco was at the perfect moisture and the flavors were pretty tasty. It has darkened just a tad, but no where near the jet black color when 10 years or older. I believe another 5 years minimum is needed, but I am very happy I put away a decent supply of this blend. I do remember that it smoked much better fresh back in 2001, but it is still a tasty bled. I will crack another tin at the 5 year mark to see how it is doing.
