Greetings fellow pipers. I'm new to the forum, though I've been lurking and listening to the podcast for a while now.

I live just to the northeast of Nashville in a suburb, but work as the Executive Chef of a large music venue in downtown.

I've been smoking a pipe for about a year and a half.

Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. My wife is a retired food professional, a food writer with Newsday on Long Island and in Manhattan, and a prolific chef and baker in her own right, with much exposure to international food including a job-sponsored reporting trip to Tokyo's major fish market. Her grandson lives in Nashville these days, in some aspect of the statistics profession. He explained it to us, but ... I never made it to studying statistics.
