Smokingpipes. com Customer Service AJ Squared Away.

So last night the SGM, my lovely wife, said I could buy a Peterson Walnut spigot 68 that I had been loving from afar. My Christmas present, love my girl! I always ask for Smokingpipes.com to check drilling but they were closed and the pipe is so beautiful I snatched it up. It has a gorgeous grain and was worried it might be gone by morning, he who hesitates is lost. Sorry no pictures, but when it gets here on Friday I will post some pipe porn lol.
But I sent an email last night asking them to check it this morning and informed them I would call and we would discuss. So I called and spoke with Jessica who told me the pipe was in shipping but she would go to shipping and check it and call me back. Which she did and all is well.
Then a little bit later I received a email from Mark. He indicated he was unsure if I had been assisted. So he also went to shipping and checked the pipe! Told me all was well with the pipe.
I am quite impressed that not one but two members at Smokingpipes.com went out of their way and went to shipping andbfound my pipe already boxed and checked the drilling! That kind of service impressed me and they have certainly secured my future business no doubt about it!

Very nice. One thing I've learned after 11 years in customer service at varying levels, is that it really comes down to the individual. Some of them are hardwired to go that extra inch, and some of them aren't.

Cortez, then I will be a sad old duper. And two people checking at different times with no knowlege of the other pretty good odds I say. But they do have returns and exchanges if needed so not very worried. ::
