Is it Possible to Have an Allergy to Latakia?

I appear to have an allergy to heavier portions of DFK. I can take it in small doses (I do really love it!) but heartier portions throw me for a loop.

Well, I read through the thread again and I think I found my problem. Like an earlier person who was dealing with forest fires and poor air...There was no wind yesterday...damp, and still air. My neighboor burns wood for heat and the smoke just seems to settle in my back yard. There is usually a breeze to blow it away. I went to bed and started wheezing. Took alergy meds and gone. Im sure smoking doesnt help but in this case with poor fresh air I was smoking 24 hours.

I had the same symtoms so I consulted my favorite Dr. of corse he blamed on smoking but further testing it turned out to be a mild case of Covid.

I have pretty much the same issues as the OP with Latakia blends. DFK does not give me any issues and I smoke it almost every day (Three Nuns).

I also get pretty much the same reaction from wood smoke. I just avoid both as much as I can.
