Charatan Pipe

Recent eBay pipe is this Chartan Beleveder that was a 'Buy It Now" for 19.99. Did I over pay or something?? I think this pipe went for 2 weeks as a "Buy It Now". I know it's probably not the most desired shape. I cleaned it up real good and polished the heavily oxidized stem. Here she is.

My view is that if you like it and are enjoying how it smokes, it was worth it.

I have one like that and love to smoke TroutStream or Boswells Aros in it, you done really good.

I agree, that was a steal by about 125% or so. Stem logo is still visible, that is a plus. I've found those DC stems are some of the most comfortable I've had. The rubber just has an usual soft feel to it (so watch the teeth marks)

If there is an L in script anywhere on the pipe then it is a Lane Era, either way the price is definitely right. Congrats on your great score.

I love pots like yours. These pot shapes are not real popular with the younger guys. However, I have found that my pots smoke cooler and are great for latakia blends. Enjoy!

It's a beautiful pipe and you did a great job on the restoration. Anytime you can get an estate Charatan for less than 30 to 40 bucks you've made a great grab.
