Just opened what you might call the deep cellar, union leader in glass jars, the lid was rusty but intact. Smells a little metallic but also smells great at the same time. There are a few dedicated souls who love to smoke this old stuff. Several years ago @Papipe and myself opened a 1915 'cutter top' tin of cube cut tobacco. It tasted fresh and pleasant but nothing I would write home about. These days if I come across these ancient tins they go straight into the mail to a very dear friend of mine who posts on this forum who loves smoking the past! Lol As to your 1915 can of Union Leader I would respectfully suggest using a disposable corn cob pipe if you intend to give it a try. Do update us on your experience and purchase ample life insurance.
