ASHTON made IN USA

Are or were there any Ashton pipes made in the USA? I have one stamped ASHTON made in the USA on the top of the stem on the bottom is stamped imported briar 234, Im interested in finding out exactly what i have and maybe what its worth. I got it at a thrift store for 2 dollars.

Still no luck Ive pounded the internet no leads but on a good note cleaned it up polished the bit sanitised it and gave her a polishing a great smoker easily one of my top 2 favorite pipes in my collection.

It's not a Taylor or Craig Ashton, but you can't beat a $2 pipe!
