    Favorite Bourbon Whiskey?

This'll probably get buried, but here goes - I really don't rate Jack Daniels, I usually drink buffalo trace. But I've found that gentleman Jack, which is the slightly more expensive version of the standard JD is much nicer in taste and quality. Well worth giving it a try.

    Where do you live?

I live in Worcester, just South of Birmingham which is in the Midlands, UK. It's a lovely area, far enough away from Birmingham to be surrounded by beautiful countryside, but close enough to visit for shopping etc. It's also close-ish to the Welsh border which is great for nipping into Wales to...

    Your Very First Smoke

I remember mine well! A friend and I had been keen cigar smokers for around 5 years, but had always fancied smoking pipes. We took a trip to our most local tobacconist and they helped us each pick out pipes, a pipe tool and a selection of different tobaccos to try. I remember sitting at home...

It's More Than Smoking a Pipe.

being 31 and covered in tattoos myself I've often experienced being judged by the general public for my appearance, my wife always jokes that I look like a convict or a gang member when I'm out wearing a vest top. however, I agree that none of that seemed to matter the first time I visited my...

Too Many Pipes... Is It Possible?

I've only been pipe smoking for about 4 months and I've bought 3 pipes so far but I don't think you can have too many pipes, there are far worse things to spend your wages on and if you love collecting, smoking and admiring them.. then go for it, collect as many as you can.

    Dottle, The Unburned Tobacco

In my opinion I don't think you need to smoke until all the tobacco has been burned, I just aim to enjoy the smoke. If the bowl is well lit, burning nicely and I happen to smoke it all to ash well...that's great!! but If I've enjoyed the smoke and find some dottle at the bottom of the bowl it...
