    What's a shape you just don't like?

DUBLIN! While I just love the shape, for some reason I just never seem to get a good smoke out of a Dublin no matter how hard I try and whatever I smoke.

Dang! Sorry to hear this! I'll cross my fingers that it will all have a happy ending!

    Dunhill Inner Tube Questions

Dunhill still makes the Innner Tubes, but they're not always supplied with the pipe... Most Bents don't come with them, though, due to the pipe shape. Personally, when I find an Inner Tube in a (modern) Dunhill pipe, I toss the Inner Tube into the waste bin. Never use them. I do keep the old...

    My Pipe Collection

I don't smoke it often, but if I should pick a favourite pipe, it would be my Dunhill Full Size Magnum from 1924.... quite a pipe and a wonderful smoker:

    My Pipe Collection

Dunhill made figural heads in the 1920ies (like my "Sphinx" from 1928 above) and late 30's up to WW II... then started making them again in the mid 70's plus 80's (the unsmoked example I have).... Dunhill also offers figural meerschaum pipes on an occasional basis (the "Musketeer" pipe I bought...

    Do You Tongue The Slot?

Regarding the thread title, that's a rather naughty question, isn't it? LOL

    My Pipe Collection

Thanks again, guys! What made me focus on Dunhill pipes probably was that first Dunhill pipe that my late father gave to me back in 19886...that's when I also started collecting them. Of course, some of the pipes see less action than others but I'm not just a pipe smoker but also collect pipes...

Smoking my pipe has become bittersweet

I doubt smoking at home on the porch will ever be banned... Thanks for your service!

    My Pipe Collection

Thanks! I bought the dresser from a company that sells office furniture... the chest of drawers is normally made to store maps and posters.

    My Pipe Collection

Here are some pics of my pipe collection... I've added a few pipes since I took the pictures. The majority of my collection are Dunhill pipes(currently 202 pcs, ranging from year 1912 to today... I also have quite a few meerschaum pipes plus some porcelain pipes from the Royal Copenhagen...

    Having Fun NOT!

I vote for multi-tasking: study, smoke your pipe and drink coffee... all at the same time!

    The beginning of the end?

Why don't they just let us be and go after the ones who drink too much instead? Hey, wait a minute... that'd hit me, too! LOL

    Dunhill Pipe (1920's) Restoration

I'd leave the nick be instead of topping the pipe... no matter how professionally it's done, one would be able to tell that it's been topped. Better let that ole fella have the signs of use... after all, it's not a new pipe.

    My Pipe Collection!

Great collection! Can't blame you for having the Country Man Rustic by Northern Briar as your fav... it's a real beaut.

    Mouth burn

If your mouth is burnt, I'd refrain from smoking a couple of days to have your gums recover... smoking with sore gums can't be healthy. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

    What Is Your Celebratory Drink

My favourite drinks are: Guinness Carlsberg Master Brew Lagavulin single malt (just the standard 16 years) A good strong Dry Martini Cocktail (this is what I prefer when I really want to celebrate something; for instance getting a new pipe).
