How Long does a Smoke Last?

That's steep and uncalled for. Anyway, I'm out of here.

How Long does a Smoke Last?

What a hostile moderator, locked almost all my threads :( OK folks it's been fun (perhaps rather short) but that's it for me, I didn't come here to fight. Keep puffing, good luck and cheers!

    Pipe Smoking Vocabulary

One more, another day I asked how to fill empty cigarettes only to find out they are called tubes. Would've never thought of that. Another word learned :)

    Pipe Smoking Vocabulary

I wonder how English got that specific. dictionary.com says: ORIGIN OF DOTTLE: 1815–25; dial. dot small lump (probably identical with dot1) + -le. Makes little sense to me.

    Does Everyone Use Pipe Filters?

The point was the more you see on your filter, the less you'll have in your lungs. But also I subscribe to the opinion that none of that matters. I don't advocate for anything, just trying to have a conversation and hopefully a laugh ;)

    Pipe Smoking Vocabulary

Title edited. Regardless of native tongue, one needs to read rule 9 before starting another thread. English isn't my native tongue, so coming to this forum I had to learn some new words. dottle -- do you mean gunk? why don't you say so to sip a pipe?? -- I think it means to smoke the pipe like...

I din't question your numbers and your monster pipes are very impressive.

How Long does a Smoke Last?

As understand it, the burning period of the pipe I have (20x30mm) is 10-13 min. If you take breaks and relight it afterwords you can say it lasted for 40 min or an hour. So it's a matter of choice if you smoke it all at once or prolong the process. I did go on youtube after I started this...

    Does Everyone Use Pipe Filters?

Title edited for caps. And the answer is no. I'm using 9mm filters with my pipe and looking at them after just two smokes I feel like everyone should :)

How Long does a Smoke Last?

When you smoke a pipe for 40 min, how many times do you re-light it? Or is it a continuous glowing for 40 min?

How Long does a Smoke Last?

No that isn't for me. I judge tobacco by the throat hit, that's what e-sig smokers were looking for, back in days. My leaves have a tremendous hit, a bit too much :) Don't see a point in "puffing".
