Spain and Scotland pipe smokers--info needed!
There could be a few in Scotland, but if England is anything to go by then it'll mostly be Kendal or Peterson's. Neither of which are bad, Kendal does some wonderful aromatics. My discussion with a B&M owner.
My B&M is in the same positon. The owners (a wonderfully sweet old couple) apparently base alot of their sales recomendations on what I say about the baccy when I've smoked it abit (possibly some ego involved there). Avoiding Rim Charring?
I just leave mine. I honestly think it adds character to a used pipe. On a brand new one, or something I've paid for, I'd be put out as anything, but if its my pipe that I plan on keeping for many years, I kindof like it.- capnbellamy
