Stirling Flake == Irish Flake?
Irish Flake used to be one of my staple tobaccos back around '05 to '15 or so. I stopped smoking pipes for a long time and have in the past year happily gotten back into it. I tried the Irish Flake of today, and it seemed "off". I don't have the most sophisticated palate for pipe tobaccos...- --dante--

I still have some of that along with an unopened tub! I do miss it. I'm a little disappointed with it in the aged form though. Understandably, aging took away a lot of the spicy bite it had when fresh, which was my favorite aspect of it. It's still a pretty nice smoke though.- --dante--

Welcome! I just returned from a trip to your fine country a couple weeks ago (Stockholm). As to an aromatic tobacco, the only one I found I enjoy (a lot) is Homeward Bound (Two Friends Tobacco), but I'm not sure that's considered an aromatic, maybe more like a crossover. Two Friends -- Homeward Bound -- Anyone tried it?
I don't normally smoke aromatics, but this blend strikes me more as a tobacco blend with an aromatic quality (kinda like I see Edward G Robinson or Father Dempsey).
