    Burning Temperatures

    Do some tobaccos actually burn hotter than others when all things are equal; cut, moisture, pack, etc? I’ve noticed more often than not I get a chemical bite rather than a temperature bite. Unfortunately, usually from my favorite tasting tobaccos, Virginia’s.

    PS Bullseye is a favorite of mine. ADunhill Navy rolls > Escudo if you prefer a bit more “sweetness”. Rattrays offers some good ones too, harder to find though.

    Slow Smoke Meaning

    I let the tobacco dictate my cadence. If I’m being honest I usually push it to it’s or my limit. As a cigar smoker I smoke for flavor but also enjoy a healthy amount of smoke. So depending on the tobacco I’ll smoke it to just below the point where it starts to get too hot for my pipe or my tongue.
