    I also enjoy the ritual and the aesthetics of pipe-smoking. Packing the bowl, lighting, tamping, puffing. For me it's not a habit but a habitual pleasure.

    Peterson Tobacco

    If you like your sweet aromatics, I highly recommend Peterson's Sweet Kilarney for its caramel-y taste and coconut-y aroma. Got a new tin the other day and I'm already half-way through. Delicious.

    Aromatics with good room notes.

    Condor Original Ready Rubbed has a wonderful home-and-hearth room note. My (non pipe-smoking) buddies are always telling me how much they love the smell when I fire up a bowl around them.

    New pipe question

    I thought Bjarne too and it does have that look to it. But if it was relatively inexpensive, it might not be. Maybe a Dr Grabow? All the same, it's a fine looking pipe and I hope you enjoy smoking it. I'm new to pipe-smoking too and it's good to see I'm not the only newbie on here!
