Zippo Question for the taste sensitive individual

I understand that a lot of people claim that lighting your pipe tobacco with zippo can leave a gassy taste. After smoking 2 bowls of pipe tobacco with my new Zippo Pipe Lighter i've noticed and tasted maybe 2-3 seconds of Zippo "gassiness". After that duration i taste the tobacco that i've...

Athletes or Occasional Gym warriors who smoke

I was wondering if anyone here was a former athlete (e.g. highschool, college, or league) or a gym advocate who works out 3-4x a week (e.g. running 3-4 miles a day+weight lifting) and smokes cigars or pipes about 2-3x a week? If you are the following, do you ever notice a stunt in performance...

    Savinelli vs. Peterson "systems"

ya i own two savinellis and their balsa systems are unbelievable! Out of my eight pipes my savinellis are my best smokers. Off topic: Does anyone own a savinelli Autograph? I just recently won one on ebay and i think i went a little overboard on a 1993 pipe.
