    Pipe rest?

    I let my briars rest a week or two. I have enough pipes to do that. But as Number 6 said sometimes with my favorite pipes I only give them a day or two. I give my meers, sometimes, only about an hour or two. The same with my cobs.

    Suitable Solvents for Pipe Cleaning?

    Back in the 70's I actually used Listerine. I don't remember having adverse effects. For the past few years I've been using Henessy Cognac. I know it is not very high proof, but it seems to work pretty good.
