    Question On Dunhill Marking

Thanks for the help guys. I knew I'd probably never be able to pin down a date and I'm ok with that. The letter/number stamps was what was really throwing me off.

    Question On Dunhill Marking

Yes the England was worn down like that when I got it. It's been re-stemmed at least once before. It had a badly chewed twin bore stem when I got as did almost every other pipe in the lot. With the light just right I can barely make out the gla but that's about it. I probably should have...

    Question On Dunhill Marking

I picked this Dunhill up as part of a lot at an auction a few months ago. Unfortunately the stem was a replacement and it was bad so off it went to Walker Briar Works for clean up and a new stem. I didn't do any research on it before I sent it off but now that it's home again I'm trying to...

    Anyone Heard Of Mars Pipes?

This is the only pipe I've seen with a moisture trap like that. I tried both pipephil.eu and pipedia with no luck. I even tried searching the patent office to see if I could find anything but no luck there either.

    Anyone Heard Of Mars Pipes?

I picked up an estate lot and in it was this odd pipe. It's marked Mars pat. 7.6.26 and nothing else. I haven't been able to find any information about it. Can anyone point me to any info? Unfortunately it's got a big chip out of the front of the bowl but I think it's fixable.

My 8th Homemade Briar Pipe - The Briar Elephant

That pipe and stand combo has got to be the coolest one I've ever seen. Beautiful work.

    Cherry Blends

Mac Baren's 7 Seas Red is good. I haven't smoked it in 2-3 months now so I don't remember what the room note was like.

    A Pipe & 1/4 Pound of Tobacco - Only $19.95!

I'm in for one too. I picked the wife up some of their Amaretto tobacco as well since it's on sale.

    My New Frederick G pipe

Normally I'm a traditional kind of guy when it comes to pipe shapes but this one just grabbed me and pulled me in. I think the stem really sets it off. I showed it to my wife before I bid and she was like it's ok. After it came and she saw it in person I almost lost it but thankfully she prefers...

    My New Frederick G pipe

I picked this one up Sunday from Tim West on Ebay. It was just something about it that caught my eye and I had to have it. It arrived yesterday and I'd have to say it's nicer than the pictures (which I borrowed from the auction) show. I fired it up tonight with some Black Bayou Mist that was...

Craig Tarler Day: An Unofficial Celebration

Nice idea. I only have one C&D blend so it's Blockade Runner for me.

    Barling question

I'm smoking some Peterson 2012 Special Reserve in it right now and it is indeed a good smoker. She's got a nice easy draw and just feels nice in my hand. I'd have to say she borders on great but I'll wait to say that until I've smoked another couple bowls in her.

    Barling question

Here she is all cleaned up. Everything came out pretty good. I did loose the stem logo but it was very faint and I wasn't surprised I lost it.

    Barling question

Thanks for the help guys. I started cleaning it up tonight and I'll post some after pics when it's done.

    Barling question

I picked this Barling up a couple of months ago in an auction lot. I got it out today to start cleaning it up and checked Barling on the pipedia. It's marked Barling 5386 London England and TVF Brigadier Exel. It's markings look to be transitional or post transition but it says the TVF makes it...
