    Late Bloomer from Norway

Welcome from New Jersey, USA. I was a heavy smoker for many, many years and stopped for quite a while before I picked up a pipe I had bought back tin the 70's. I've since gotten back to smoking the pipe and have purchased a few additional and tried various tobaccos. It's been about 5 years...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

It's been over a week since I've smoked one of my pipes. The catkins coming down off the large oaks along with the breeze and wind blowing them around has made it far from suitable to be outside. Today seemed to be the last of them and this evening was cool and quiet and my eyes and nose were...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

A nice looking pipe with a diamond shank similar to some of my Petes which I really like the look and feel of.

Looking back at your post #37 I have to agree. I don't clench so I was thinking which maybe isn't my forte.

The way it is probably is best if you hold your pipe but with more bend it's probably better for clenching ?

***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

Thank you, I saw them but I'm interested in an 80s shape preferably in the walnut finish or possibly red. Saw some in ebony and green but just not for me as is the natural finish.

I really like the Peterson pipes with the diamond shank. Looking for a smooth finish 80s walnut or red spigot and they are no where to be found. May have to go the sandblast or rusticated route.

    I Bought my Dream Pipe!

I have a System 314 and a System Silver Spigot 303 both of which I like very much also. Now, my 12oz bottle of Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner arrived today from Amazon at a cost to me of $8.56. I used it on a few of my pipes and like it as much as Obsidian Oil. On SP Obsidian Oil is...
