In Hommage to Fader's: The End of an Era

Wow, I'm glad I clicked on this thread. I grew up not 10 mins from the Rolling Rd/Rte 40 location. I wasn't into pipes then, you know being only a kid and all, but I have heard the name before and now I'm sorry I never made it in there. I just might have to visit their other locations before...

    Bulk Chenet's Cake Group Buy

I would be interested. Since this is not in the buy/sell forum, I'm hoping I don't need the post count to qualify. If I do then please disregard. Thank you.

AND Meerschaum Purchase & Pipe Review...

I had purchased a pipe from them a few years ago and I wasn't impressed. I smoked hot, maybe my filling technique and it never colored for me. Maybe it isn't a block meerschaum? I don't recall. I ended up trading it for some tobacco and never thought about getting another one.

    The Sav 320 is real!

I have been eyeing the 320 for awhile now. SP usually has them in stock, I just might have to pick one up!

    Brigham pipe

I have a Brigham, Algonquin bent Dublin. I can't pass a pipe cleaner all the way thru from stem to bowl either. I thought I had a badly made pipe, but from reading here, I see that is not the case. Having to pull the stem off for clean-up is a pain in the butt. A good smoker otherwise.

    Frederick (MD) Pipe Club

Well damn, I missed it by that much. I live in Frederick and I have seen that place before. Haven't been in yet, but I will soon. I would like to attend the next meeting if you plan on having one. Since you mentioned the second Tuesday of the month, I will plan on being there 9 December...

    Cold weather tobacco

I switch to english blends in October. I smoke Dunhill Nightcap, Early Morning Pipe. G.L. Pease Gaslight and Ten Russians. I go back to Virginia's and Burleys in the spring. I don't have a particular sized bowl, I just use what I have.

I Do Not Feel the Nicotine

I just finished my first bowl of C&D's Billy Budd and it was a huge nic hit for me. It tasted like I stuck a cigar in my bowl and let it rip. I will put this in a jar and let it settle a bit. Good greif, I have to lay down now.

    Single Malts.

I am a big Latakia fan, but the smokey malts, not so much. Dalwhinnie is a good one. I had a Scotch once before called "Cigar Malt" which was very good, but I can't find it anymore. I think it was made by Dalwhinnie and it could have been a limited release. Looks like I need to start adding...

    Just Ordered...

I just made my first order with 4noggins yesterday. Ordered a big variety of Virginia's. I have the Dunhill Flake in my cellar and it is very good. It may bite a bit if you smoke too fast, but very good none the less.

Anyone Taken Advantage of The Dunhill Sale?

Yes I did! I added 5 tins of Dunhill Flake and 3 tins of Presbyterian to my cellar. Also got me some pipe cleaners.
