    Luciano Bulldog

Nice pipe brother. I just recently purchased a Luciano Squat Rhodesian. It's a great smoker. Has some very nice grain also. I love the blast on that bulldog though.

Riccardo Santia Prototype Cob (The Colonial Cob)

@hfearly, He make most with the regular style bamboo like that pipe you showed but just not in the black. He has been experimenting with staining the bamboo though. Check out his site: RSantiapipe.com

Riccardo Santia Prototype Cob (The Colonial Cob)

Hey y'all I just got in a prototype cob from my man Riccardo Santia and wanted to get y'alls opinion. I have done a video review of it that fully describes it. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbXFGkPm_bg http://cl.ly/L7T3 http://cl.ly/L7kt http://cl.ly/L6xX

    What's Your "White Whale" Pipe?

My white whale would have to be this cavalier-volcano with antler from creative briar http://www.creativebriarpipes.com/available-pipes/pipe-12015/ Love volcanoes and cavaliers and contrasts so this is like a wet dream for me.

Pipe Mud and Pipe Cement (WARNING: GIANT POST)

Ok so I used bourbon and cigar ash for pipe mud and it is by far the hardest I have seen yet. Literally went off like dried clay. Dries and sets in less than 24hrs. Absorbs moisture like a sponge and dries super quick as well. So: dryer, cooler, and easier to clean. If any one wants to try I...

I cant believe I just did this!.. yes I AM STUPID!

I'm sorry to hear about that brother. I agree with JoshWolfTree: "this is obviously the doors fault". But it has been my understanding that all meerlined pipes with the exception of calabashes are made using pressed meerschaum. So my recommendation would be either: 1) repair yourself by buying a...

    Large Upshall Bulldog

Very nice pipe man. I'm a sucker for a good bulldog. Lovely grain. Enjoy it brother.

My first bamboo pipe - Jody Davis

Very nice pipe brother. I like how the colors of the briar, bamboo, and stem contrast so nicely. Since you are now into bamboo and if you like corncobs then you should check out some Riccardo Santia pipes. They are awesome and smoke like a dream.

    New Custom Corncob Pipe

Ok do I'm not trying to burn out this thread but I have made a video review of this pipe and if it hits 1000 views before Christmas then Riccardo has promised to make me a free pipe. So please watch it, comment, like, and tell your friends. Hell watch it twice or more even. Here's the link...

    New Custom Corncob Pipe

Thanks for the compliments y'all. I'm actually talking to Riccardo now about doing another cob. Something a little more unique with some antler thrown in. I'll post those pics when I get the pipe in. But in the mean time y'all go get one of these bad boys. Support small business men/women.

    New Custom Corncob Pipe

@ pipeinhand, No it's not two shanks that is a second tamper. But now you have given me an idea for my next pipe from Riccardo. Interchangable shanks: 1 straight, 1 curved. Thanks man. Now I know what I want for Christmas, hahaha.

    New Custom Corncob Pipe

Hi y'all I just recently had a corncob pipe commissioned by Riccardo Santia. It's awesome, period. Bamboo shank, acrylic stem, briar plug and bottom. He is using cobs from Missouri Meerschaum and on this one particular used two cobs. Since MM had a bad growing season they were low on larger cobs...

Pipe Mud and Pipe Cement (WARNING: GIANT POST)

Oh while it's on my mind i was wondering while I have seen that cigar ash is the most popular material as a base with pipe ash a close second i have seen much more solvents used. Honey, water, saliva, and jams/jellies being the most popular. But i have yet to see anyone use liquor. Why? Water...

Pipe Mud and Pipe Cement (WARNING: GIANT POST)

A word on safety: If using wood ash to make pipe mud be sure to use ash that came from woods that are nontoxic or have little to no health hazards such as allergic reactions and the like. If the ash is pure white then most likely all the problem compounds like the big C's (carcinogens) and...
