In the sixth ad starting from the back it says a packet of PA is enough for 50 pipefuls or 70 roll your own cigarettes. I don't get it...isn't a pipe like 2-3 grams and a cigarette 1g tops? If the packet lasts for 50 pipefuls then it should do at least 100 cigarettes.- pipeman84

I think there are some misunderstandings here... @deniz you say you have to pay custom duties if you buy tobacco from France or Netherlands...there is no border between these countries and Germany (Schengen area) so you can bring as much tobacco as you like for personal use. Cheap pipe tobacco - can't put my finger on what's wrong
Well, with all the handling, the cheap ones tend be drier because it takes longer to go through a 170g tin compared to a 50g tin. But they're nowhere near 'dust dry'.- pipeman84

Cheap pipe tobacco - can't put my finger on what's wrong
So I got a few tins of what could be described as cheap pipe tobacco - 170g of Colts original for 13.5 euros, 180g of Barsdorf's Bester Dark Fired for 14 euros.
